Sport at SBC

History was made on 4/3/‘24 when SBC fielded its first ever School Soccer Team. And that honour goes to our Senior Girls who participated in the Laois Qualifiers of the FAI Primary 5s Competition played out in a blitz format at Killeshin FC.

Our girls topped their group following a draw with Shanganamore Barrowhouse NS 2 ( 0-0 ) and wins over both St.Abbans Killeen NS ( 4-3 ) and Maryborough NS Portlaoise ( 3-1 ).

SBC Girls then advanced to the final of their Section where the beat Shanganamore Barrowhouse 1, who were duly dispatched 2-0.

We now qualify for the Laois Finals Day itself which will be played at Killeshin FC on Wednesday 20th March.
